# OCR Text Scanner vs Live Screen Subs

The clearest difference is ads: Live Screen Subs at none against OCR Text Scanner's shown. OCR Text Scanner's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OCR Text Scanner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Live Screen Subs sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
