# 指尖笔记 vs Clip Jar

The clearest difference is monetization model: Clip Jar at free against 指尖笔记's freemium. 指尖笔记's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 指尖笔记 sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Clip Jar sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

指尖笔记 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 14 respectively.

指尖笔记 ships an update every 2 weeks, Clip Jar every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
