# Chereads vs TCCL SRP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TCCL SRP at 100% against Chereads's 55%. TCCL SRP also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Chereads's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chereads sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. TCCL SRP asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chereads holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chereads has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Chereads's written reviews are positive against 100% of TCCL SRP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chereads ships an update every 3 weeks, TCCL SRP every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
