# Drift for Life vs Drift X

Drift for Life and Drift X both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of Drift for Life's written reviews are positive against 61% of Drift X's. Drift for Life also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 1.7K) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drift for Life sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Drift X sells 33 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Drift for Life against 4.4 for Drift X. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drift for Life has 16K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Drift for Life's written reviews are positive against 61% of Drift X's.

Drift for Life ships an update fortnightly, Drift X monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
