# Outing vs MNTSTUDIO

The clearest difference is rating: MNTSTUDIO at 5.0 against Outing's 4.6. MNTSTUDIO also leads on ratings volume (352 vs 22). Outing's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 67%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MNTSTUDIO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MNTSTUDIO has 352 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Outing's written reviews are positive against 67% of MNTSTUDIO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Outing ships an update every 2 weeks, MNTSTUDIO every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
