# Get Sauce vs Addons

The clearest difference is ads: Addons at none against Get Sauce's shown. Addons also leads on ratings volume (344 vs 25). Get Sauce's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 60%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Get Sauce sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Addons sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Get Sauce against 4.6 for Addons. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons has 344 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Get Sauce's written reviews are positive against 60% of Addons's.

Get Sauce ships an update every 2 weeks, Addons every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
