# Interval Timer vs Interval

The clearest difference is ads: Interval at none against Interval Timer's shown. Interval also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Interval Timer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Interval sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interval Timer ships an update every 2 months, Interval every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
