# Fasty vs Fasting Tracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fasty at none against Fasting Tracker's 18. Fasting Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (9.1K vs 7). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Tracker sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Fasty asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fasty against 5.0 for Fasting Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fasting Tracker has 9.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Fasty's written reviews are positive against 93% of Fasting Tracker's.

Fasty ships an update every 16 months, Fasting Tracker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
