# PushPress Staff vs Somble

The clearest difference is rating: Somble at 4.2 against PushPress Staff's 3.7. Somble also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Somble holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of PushPress Staff's written reviews are positive against 81% of Somble's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PushPress Staff ships an update every 3 weeks, Somble every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
