# Infinite Pumpkins vs makeART

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Infinite Pumpkins at none against makeART's 2. Infinite Pumpkins also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). makeART's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. makeART sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Infinite Pumpkins asks for nothing beyond the download.

Infinite Pumpkins holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: makeART has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Infinite Pumpkins's written reviews are positive against 100% of makeART's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Infinite Pumpkins ships an update every 10 months, makeART every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
