# MyBoxEc vs Power Flex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Power Flex at every 3 months against MyBoxEc's every 16 months. Power Flex also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyBoxEc ships an update every 16 months, Power Flex every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
