# Steps vs StepSync

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StepSync at none against Steps's 1. StepSync also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StepSync asks for nothing beyond the download.
