# SHIFT vs Croissant

SHIFT and Croissant both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SHIFT's written reviews are positive against 62% of Croissant's. SHIFT also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Croissant's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (548 vs 31). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SHIFT holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Croissant has 548 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two.
