# FCA Challenge vs Positive Athlete

The clearest difference is update cadence: Positive Athlete at every 2 weeks against FCA Challenge's every 2 months. Positive Athlete also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). FCA Challenge's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 2) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Positive Athlete holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FCA Challenge has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FCA Challenge ships an update every 2 months, Positive Athlete every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
