# Prime IPTV vs IPTV Smarters Plus Player

Prime IPTV and IPTV Smarters Plus Player both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Prime IPTV's written reviews are positive against 27% of IPTV Smarters Plus Player's. Prime IPTV also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (5 vs 3). IPTV Smarters Plus Player's advantage is ratings volume (2.3K vs 180). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prime IPTV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and IPTV Smarters Plus Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Smarters Plus Player holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Plus Player has 2.3K ratings behind it against 180, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Prime IPTV's written reviews are positive against 27% of IPTV Smarters Plus Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prime IPTV ships an update every 4 weeks, IPTV Smarters Plus Player every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
