# Stock Checker vs PALACE

The clearest difference is ads: PALACE at none against Stock Checker's shown. PALACE also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (40 vs 5). Stock Checker's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Stock Checker against 4.3 for PALACE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PALACE has 40 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Stock Checker's written reviews are positive against 61% of PALACE's.

Stock Checker ships an update fortnightly, PALACE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
