# Niki Scene vs NoteGuide

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteGuide at every 2 days against Niki Scene's every 4 months. NoteGuide also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Niki Scene sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoteGuide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Niki Scene ships an update every 4 months, NoteGuide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
