# Latpay Terminal Configuration vs ECAP

The clearest difference is update cadence: ECAP at every 10 days against Latpay Terminal Configuration's every 25 months. Latpay Terminal Configuration's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Latpay Terminal Configuration ships an update every 25 months, ECAP every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
