# The Grassmen vs Car Derby

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Grassmen at none against Car Derby's 10. Car Derby's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Derby sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. The Grassmen asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for The Grassmen against 5.0 for Car Derby. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Derby has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

The Grassmen ships an update every 15 months, Car Derby every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
