# LinkEdit vs Notes,Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notes,Tasks at every 4 days against LinkEdit's every 2 months. Notes,Tasks also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinkEdit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notes,Tasks sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
