# Countdown vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown Widget at none against Countdown's 18. Countdown Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Countdown's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Countdown Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.
