# Countdown vs Milestone

The clearest difference is device support: Countdown at 3 against Milestone's 1. Countdown also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Milestone sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update weekly, Milestone every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
