# Countdown vs Dayseek

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown at every 4 days against Dayseek's every 3 weeks. Countdown also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Dayseek sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update every 4 days, Dayseek every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
