# Outliner vs VOIDTASK

The clearest difference is update cadence: VOIDTASK at weekly against Outliner's every 2 months. VOIDTASK also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Outliner's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outliner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and VOIDTASK sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VOIDTASK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outliner has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Outliner's written reviews are positive against 100% of VOIDTASK's.

Outliner ships an update every 2 months, VOIDTASK weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
