# Outliner vs RDV

The clearest difference is update cadence: RDV at every 3 days against Outliner's every 2 months. Outliner's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outliner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and RDV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Outliner ships an update every 2 months, RDV every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
