# Ground Digger! vs Power Dig

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ground Digger! at every 10 days against Power Dig's every 5 weeks. Ground Digger! also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 23%). Power Dig's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ground Digger! sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and Power Dig sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Power Dig holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7.1K and 6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Ground Digger!'s written reviews are positive against 23% of Power Dig's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ground Digger! ships an update every 10 days, Power Dig every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
