# Sonu vs NextSense

The clearest difference is rating: NextSense at 4.7 against Sonu's 4.4. NextSense also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). Sonu's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NextSense holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 232 and 78 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Sonu's written reviews are positive against 50% of NextSense's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sonu ships an update every 3 weeks, NextSense every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
