# IDDA vs Dental Exam Prep

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: IDDA at 15.2 against Dental Exam Prep's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IDDA sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Dental Exam Prep sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
