# MapMe vs Adventurers Vault

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Adventurers Vault at 100% against MapMe's 58%. Adventurers Vault also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and device support (3 vs 1). MapMe's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapMe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Adventurers Vault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Adventurers Vault holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
