# AfroIntroductions vs Weeshr

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Weeshr at none against AfroIntroductions's 12. Weeshr also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). AfroIntroductions's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AfroIntroductions sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days. Weeshr asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weeshr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfroIntroductions has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AfroIntroductions ships an update weekly, Weeshr monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
