# AfroIntroductions vs ChairAR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ChairAR at none against AfroIntroductions's 10. ChairAR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). AfroIntroductions's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AfroIntroductions sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days. ChairAR asks for nothing beyond the download.

ChairAR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfroIntroductions has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AfroIntroductions ships an update weekly, ChairAR every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
