# AfroIntroductions vs G

AfroIntroductions and G both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of G's written reviews are positive against 44% of AfroIntroductions's. G also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). AfroIntroductions's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AfroIntroductions sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days. G asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for AfroIntroductions against 4.5 for G. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfroIntroductions has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of AfroIntroductions's written reviews are positive against 100% of G's.

AfroIntroductions ships an update weekly, G every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
