# AfroIntroductions vs Abol

AfroIntroductions and Abol both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Abol's written reviews are positive against 44% of AfroIntroductions's. AfroIntroductions's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AfroIntroductions sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days and Abol sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for AfroIntroductions against 4.5 for Abol. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfroIntroductions has 13K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of AfroIntroductions's written reviews are positive against 100% of Abol's.

AfroIntroductions ships an update weekly, Abol fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
