# Adlocked vs Whatever VPN

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Adlocked at 1.8K against Whatever VPN's 58. Adlocked also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 50%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adlocked sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Whatever VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Adlocked against 4.2 for Whatever VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adlocked has 1.8K ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Adlocked's written reviews are positive against 50% of Whatever VPN's.

Adlocked ships an update every 6 days, Whatever VPN every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
