# Brill vs Bloo

The clearest difference is rating: Bloo at 5.0 against Brill's 4.0. Brill's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brill sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Bloo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bloo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brill has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Brill's written reviews are positive against 80% of Bloo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brill ships an update weekly, Bloo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
