# STEPN vs Fitmint

The clearest difference is ratings volume: STEPN at 3K against Fitmint's 75. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Fitmint sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for STEPN against 4.1 for Fitmint. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STEPN has 3K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of STEPN's written reviews are positive against 53% of Fitmint's.

STEPN ships an update monthly, Fitmint every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
