# STEPN vs Steplete

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Steplete at 100% against STEPN's 49%. Steplete also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2). STEPN's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Steplete sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steplete holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STEPN has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of STEPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Steplete's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
