# STEPN vs Open Me First

The clearest difference is update cadence: Open Me First at every 2 weeks against STEPN's monthly. STEPN's advantage is iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STEPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Open Me First sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STEPN ships an update monthly, Open Me First every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
