# DANCE MASTERCLASS vs Groovez

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Groovez at none against DANCE MASTERCLASS's 8. Groovez also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). DANCE MASTERCLASS's advantage is ratings volume (320 vs 9) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DANCE MASTERCLASS sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Groovez asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for DANCE MASTERCLASS against 4.7 for Groovez. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DANCE MASTERCLASS has 320 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DANCE MASTERCLASS ships an update every 2 months, Groovez fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
