# Vector Field vs Shock Diamonds

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shock Diamonds at every 4 days against Vector Field's every 3 months. Vector Field's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vector Field ships an update every 3 months, Shock Diamonds every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
