# Honor Choice vs Houself

The clearest difference is rating: Honor Choice at 3.7 against Houself's 2.0. Honor Choice also leads on ratings volume (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Honor Choice holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Honor Choice's written reviews are positive against 14% of Houself's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Honor Choice ships an update every 5 months, Houself every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
