# TaylorMade Golf vs Vikes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vikes at none against TaylorMade Golf's 4. TaylorMade Golf's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (7.4K vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaylorMade Golf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Vikes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vikes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaylorMade Golf has 7.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TaylorMade Golf ships an update every 6 weeks, Vikes every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
