# Perfect Stopwatch vs Swagger Eyes

The clearest difference is monetization model: Perfect Stopwatch at free with in-app purchases against Swagger Eyes's subscription. Perfect Stopwatch also leads on ratings volume (192 vs 23) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Swagger Eyes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfect Stopwatch sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months and Swagger Eyes sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swagger Eyes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect Stopwatch has 192 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Perfect Stopwatch's written reviews are positive against 100% of Swagger Eyes's.

Perfect Stopwatch ships an update every 2 weeks, Swagger Eyes every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
