# ZNotePad vs ChatFox

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChatFox at every 4 days against ZNotePad's every 2 months. ChatFox also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ZNotePad ships an update every 2 months, ChatFox every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
