# Virginia Player vs ELK PLAYER

The clearest difference is rating: ELK PLAYER at 4.5 against Virginia Player's 3.8. Virginia Player's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 11%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virginia Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ELK PLAYER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ELK PLAYER holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Virginia Player's written reviews are positive against 11% of ELK PLAYER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Virginia Player ships an update every 6 months, ELK PLAYER every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
