# Calligraphy Master vs Crochet Counter

The clearest difference is monetization model: Calligraphy Master at free with in-app purchases against Crochet Counter's subscription. Calligraphy Master also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calligraphy Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Crochet Counter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
