# Spy Detector vs Hidden camera detector |Finder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hidden camera detector |Finder at 82% against Spy Detector's 27%. Hidden camera detector |Finder also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Spy Detector's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spy Detector sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Hidden camera detector |Finder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Spy Detector's written reviews are positive against 82% of Hidden camera detector |Finder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
