# Brightlayer Home vs RAB Lightcloud Blue

The clearest difference is rating: Brightlayer Home at 4.7 against RAB Lightcloud Blue's 3.2. Brightlayer Home also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 21) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). RAB Lightcloud Blue's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brightlayer Home holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brightlayer Home has 2.5K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Brightlayer Home's written reviews are positive against 43% of RAB Lightcloud Blue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
