# Ergo Focus vs ChickFocus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChickFocus at 89% against Ergo Focus's 50%. ChickFocus also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). Ergo Focus's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ergo Focus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ChickFocus sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ergo Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChickFocus has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Ergo Focus's written reviews are positive against 89% of ChickFocus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ergo Focus ships an update weekly, ChickFocus every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
