# BeTimeful vs Screen Time Limit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Screen Time Limit at freemium against BeTimeful's subscription. Screen Time Limit also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1). BeTimeful's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 58%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeTimeful sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Screen Time Limit sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Time Limit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 115 and 43 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of BeTimeful's written reviews are positive against 58% of Screen Time Limit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
